Aloha everyone!
This has been an exciting and busy 3 past months! Dr Lisa and I moved our offices as of May 1. We are still in the same building in the cutest suite and have been settling in to the new clinic space. Settling into any new space is more then moving a few pieces of furniture and boxes of bandages, as anyone who has ever moved knows. The flow of our lives changes when we move. I notice with each patient visit that little things like where and when to take vital signs feels awkward to me. But I have faith that a routine will be established and it won't take so much energy to do simple things. It creates an attention to small things that I ordinarily don't experience and this is a wonderful exercise in mindfulness. I love our space, it feels like my second home and it is a delight to invite you all in for our visits. I hope that you all feel at home too and feel able to discuss freely with me whatever is at issue. I truly believe that a calming place is part of healing.
