Aloha Current and Future Patients!
I have some very exciting news!
As of April 1, 2018, my office will no longer be in Lihue.
My new office location is in Kapaa at Makai Ola, the address is 4-1558 Kuhio Highway.
I am still working on my own and doing everything myself but this location is where I had hoped to be from the beginning and I think the atmosphere is very wonderful and relaxing.
Office hours are still by appointment and I will not be in the building every day, just like now, but I am available at the same phone number.
We will also be undergoing some changes to the medical records and billing systems that I hope will go smoothly and seamlessly for us all.
I appreciate your patience during the transition and will continue to provide you with the best possible care.
Here is a link to an article in the Midweek about Makai Ola from about a year ago, the place is lovely and I am looking forward to working with you in this healing environment.

How can it be March 17th already???
Does anyone else feel all caught up in day to day life and feel like the time just flies by?
The plan is to post a blog here every month. It looks like I missed February. In my defense, February is a short month and my practice is picking up. So many things on the To Do List and something’s gotta give.
Keep the priorities straight in professional and personal life.
1 Excellent quality patient care and experience. 1. Family time.
2. Paperwork. 2. Housework.
And so on, you get the picture. I am very excited to have so many great patients joining my practice! You all are the best and I know we are going to have lots of fun and joy working together.
February was a whirlwind of taking care of patients in the office, doing house calls, continuing to attempt to fathom the mysteries of the insurance companies so I can see all the people who want to work with me.
I spent a lot of hours working on a grant proposal for my son’s robotics team. Their mission is to increase awareness of STEM opportunities for the children of Kauai and mentor future entrepreneurs and scientists through the FIRST program. Preparing a grant proposal was a harder than I thought it was going to be, but it is a cause I believe in, so I was all in!
Then there are taxes. Yay! Everyone’s favorite 😊 I was on a steep learning curve to try and get all my personal stuff as well as all the paperwork for a new business all organized and collected and ready to present to my tax preparer and as usual the meeting went something like “Great job Bridget, you did even better than last year, BUT….” :☹ I always think I have everything but there is usually a list of homework: documents to collect, a category I forgot about. Oh well, I let someone else be the expert in taxes and book keeping and I will be the expert in keeping you healthy!
Until next time, a hui ho, take care of yourself: drink water, eat good food, move your body, get good sleep, and remember to use kind words when you speak to yourself and others.
